After months of preparation and weeks of training, the Yankees’ season will begin this week. So much has gone into debating the positives and negatives of the moves that the team has made, but one thing is certain: the chase for a 28th World Series championship could end this year. The Yankees are title contenders once again, and we’ll have 162 games to see just how strong a team they are.

The team’s construction is finally known, and now all that’s left is to wonder just how good this team can be. Can the Yankees manage without Luke Voit in the lineup for an extended period? Who has the most to prove specifically in this year?
