Here’s your Tuesday.

The countdown to Opening Day has hit single digits. In just over a week, we’ll get to see the Yankees take on the Blue Jays in a game that actually matters. I can’t speak for anyone else, but I’ve mostly had my fill of spring training, and the good stuff can’t come soon enough.

On the site, in honor of March Madness, Matt brings us a much less fun bracket: a mashup of the saddest Yankees from the middle of the last decade. Want to reminisce on when the Bombers were trotting out Brendan Ryan, Dean Anna, and Stephen Drew? Then boy do we have the bracket for you. Also, don’t miss Josh’s preview of Jameson Taillon’s 2021 season, while Cooper discusses how important it is for Gary Sánchez to get off to a good start, and Dan checks in on the former Yankee farmhands that were taken in the Rule 5 Draft, and whether they’re likely to stick with their new teams.

Today’s Matchup:

New York Yankees at Detroit Tigers

Time: 1:05 p.m. EST

Venue: Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium

Fun Questions:

1. Who has a better 2021, Domingo Germán, or Deivi García?

2. How excited are you for this season as compared to other recent seasons?
