We’re nearing the end of spring training, and that means that the competitions within it are drawing to a close. Soon enough we’ll know the full 26-man roster that will be competing for the Yankees on Opening Day, and we’ll be in the rhythm of a 162-game season once more. Until then though, we’ve got a little bit of exhibition matches left to hold us over.
The battles for the final slots on the roster have been extensively covered by this point. We know the frontrunners, as well as the near-locks and the next in line should injuries pop up. Before we move onto regular season matters though, now would be the time for any and all concerns on the roster to be addressed. What’s the plan for those who don’t make the cut? What should happen if a 40-man move needs to be made? If you’ve got questions like these, or anything else on your mind, send it in to us for a chance to be featured in our weekly mailbag.
Answers will run on Friday morning. All questions received by the night of March 25th will be considered. You can leave your submissions in the comment section below or by e-mail to pinstripealleyblog [at] gmail [dot] com.
