Happy Friday, everyone. Hopefully, your March 12th is better than last March 12th, when MLB announced that it was suspending the rest of spring training and delaying the season because the awful reality of COVID had finally set in. Here’s to better days ahead and hopefully, a more normal summer.
Ryan will start us off on Friday by answering your mailbag questions, and Cooper will follow with a preview of team MVP DJ LeMahieu’s encore act for 2021. Matt will provide the daily history post, and John will go around the AL East and check out the spring training storylines that have occurred so far with the Yankees’ closest competitors. I’ll have the game thread recap for this afternoon’s contest, where Jameson Taillon will take on the Tigers.

- When MLB suspended the 2020 season, they announced that Opening Day had been delayed by at least two weeks. When did you initially think that teams would return to game action?
