Barring any surprising developments, the Yankees’ offseason appears to be mostly done. They might add a fourth outfielder (Brett Gardner?) or a reliever on a minor league contract, but it doesn’t seem like any more Jameson Taillons are walking through that door. Pitchers and catchers report to the team spring training complex in Tampa on Wednesday.
Since we can mostly put a cap on Brian Cashman’s winter adventures, here’s a FanPost Friday prompt:
Are you satisfied with the Yankees’ offseason moves? Why or why not?
Obviously we’re looking for something more than just “Yes” or “No.” Both stances are defensible in their own ways, so simply choose the one you feel most passionate about and make the case! Do you think the Yankees’ signings and trades brought in the talented players needed to win it all in 2021? Or did they not do enough to put themselves in a position to take home World Series title no. 28? Explain why and let us know!
Check out the FanPost section of Pinstripe Alley and contribute your thoughts. We’ll feature one of the submissions on the front page on Friday.
How will we select which FanPosts to promote to the front page? Some of it will be subjective. If you follow our tips, you should find yourself on the right track. We will also be looking for FanPosts with comments and recommendations. Depending on the number of responses we get, receiving some recs on your post could separate your FanPost from the crowd. Additionally, if your post has a number of comments then it may have sparked some worthwhile discussions. These are just a few things we’ll be looking for when we decide which post(s) to promote on the front page. We are always on the lookout for new talent, and the FanPost section can be a great way to get our attention.
Submit your answer in the FanPost section before February 19th for your post to be considered.
