Today on Pinstripe Alley - 11/2/21

The World Series returns to Houston tonight.

Yesterday was the last off-day of the 2021 season. Given the presence of Houston’s retractable roof, it’s a lock that the World Series will end either today or tomorrow. It’s up to the Braves whether it ends in six or seven. We’ll know after tonight.

Today on the site, Jon will look back on the lost 1994 World Series that never was and Erin will grade what could be Brett Gardner’s final season in pinstripes (probably not, but hey, who knows?). Later on, Jesse will cast a warning on what could await Yankees fans in the offseason, and Esteban delve into the complexities of the latest CBA talks between the owners and players.

Fun Questions:

1. Do you want the baseball season to go one more day or would you rather the Astros just lose?

2. Do the Padres rebound to overtake the Dodgers or Giants in 2022 with Bob Melvin at the helm instead of Jayce Tingler?
