The postmortem on the Yankees’ season continues.

A day removed from the end of the season is hardly much separation, but without any more action taking things day-by-day is the only avenue available. The NL Wild Card was decided last night, so from here on out we’ll have postseason series in earnest — none of this nine-inning trial by fire nonsense. If you’re checked out of the playoffs though, no worries — we’ve got some content on this team for you.

Peter leads off by examining how the Wild Card Game was a microcosm of the offense’s performance all season, and Andrés zeroes in on the disastrous out at home plate that the Yankees once again ran right into. John will give us some upside by looking into the positives from this season, Joe will finish up by looking into which Yankees could have played their last game in pinstripes.

Fun Questions:

1. Which player would you be most surprised to see return next year?

2. Which LDS matchup is the most interesting to follow as a third party viewer?
