The 2021 Yankees season is over. Sadly, that’s not news. It’s been over for weeks, as the Yankees were eliminated long before the World Series. They fell well short of preseason expectations, just barely making the Wild Card Game and falling with a whimper to the archrival Red Sox.
Now, though, it’s time to look back on the 2021 season, player-by-player. Who did their part to push the Yankees to a postseason appearance? Who contributed too much to the midseason malaise? Over the next month and change, we’ll go through the roster and give each player an overall grade, combining the evaluations of each member of the PSA staff.
This post will serve as the tracker for the report cards, keeping the links to them in an easy-to-access location.
