It’s Sunday, and the World Series is set.

MLB: New York Yankees at Toronto Blue Jays Dan Hamilton-USA TODAY Sports

After a few weeks of playoff baseball, we’ve at last settled upon a championship matchup. The Braves managed to avoid blowing a 3-1 lead to the Dodgers in consecutive years, and advanced to the World Series with a Game 6 win. The Dodgers were running on fumes to some extent, with Max Scherzer getting scratched from his scheduled start, but the Braves still completed the job that they need to do.

On the site today, Estevão recognizes the 25th anniversary of one of the finest pitchers’ duels in playoff history, Joe takes us around Yankee social media, Andres looks at some potential pitching breakouts for next year, and Dan examines a pair of players the Yankees nabbed in the 2020 Triple-A Rule 5 Draft, and whether they could make an impact at the major league level.

Fun Questions:

1. Who’s more likely to be the Yankees’ starting first baseman on Opening Day, Luke Voit or Anthony Rizzo?

2. Were the Dodgers right to push Walker Buehler on three days rest in Game 6?
