Well, the wounds may be fresh still, but the Yankees offseason has officially arrived. The Yankees lost out in the Wild Card Game, and have been reduced to spectators for the remainder of this postseason. There won’t be any moves happening yet outside of some coaching staff shakeup, but some roster changes are on the horizon and approaching fast.
There is a lot to consider when going into any offseason, and this one in particular will be a crucial one. The team stands at a crossroads with what to do regarding the core of their roster: they easily have the pieces to contend, but the complementary players didn’t contribute as much as expected. Who will the team target to improve the roster? Who has played their last game in pinstripes? If you’ve got questions like these, or any other concerns, be sure to send them in for a chance to be featured in our Yankees mailbag.
Answers will run on Friday morning. All questions received by the night of October 21st will be considered. You can leave your submissions in the comment section below or by e-mail to pinstripealleyblog [at] gmail [dot] com.
