Just like that, the final weekend of January is here. Tomorrow marks the last day of the only month we’ll have without baseball activities for the foreseeable future (barring, y’know, the pandemic interrupting things again). So much of our time has been spent recently contemplating what the plan would be for this year, soon enough we’ll get to see it in action.

Today on the site, Peter looks into wrapping up the bullpen’s loose ends with a Chaz Roe signing, and Tom takes us back to the best starts of Masahiro Tanaka’s career. Erica will poll the community on your opinion of the bullpen retooling, and Matt recalls both the most significant and insignificant Yankees-Red Sox trades made ever.

Fun Questions

1. Do you think that the bullpen is complete with the O’Day signing, or will there be another move?

2. Which one of the non-Cole starters would you bet on leading the Yankees in innings pitched this year?
