Guten Tag! Today will be all about the Jameson Taillon and Adam Ottavino trades. Josh and John will each have their own musings on the alluring-but-risky potential of Taillon’s ceiling, Tom will write about why Ottavino was deemed expendable, and Cooper will preview the 2021 bullpen as it stands right now. The Hall of Fame vote will be released at 6pm, and I’ll have a breaking news post up then, too, including the PSA community’s ballot results.

Fun Questions

  1. Would you have preferred the Yankees to hold onto Ottavino for 2021? Or did you want him gone, even if it meant him heading to a division rival?
  2. How should the Yankees go about filling Ottavino’s role in the bullpen? Are you satisfied with the internal options?
