Good morning folks. Today’s a big day for football, as we’ll know the two participants in this year’s Super Bowl by the end of the night, but it could be a big day for the Yankees too. Jameson Taillon rumors are flying and the Pittsburgh pitcher is reportedly near the finish line for getting traded. The Yankees are the frontrunners for him, and it would make a lot of sense if this is how they plan to deal with their 40-man roster crunch. (UPDATE: They got it done.)

Ahead of these rumors, Peter will start us off today with the case for acquiring Taillon, followed by Josh discussing how NBCSN’s demise is a bleak forecast for sports broadcasts, and Joe bringing us the weekly social media spotlight.

Fun Questions

1. How optimistic are you on the Yankees’ apparent plans to focus on upside in the rotation?
