What happens after a big Yankee weekend; diving into the Corey Kluber acquisition

MLB.com | Matt Kelly: Blake Snell, Yu Darvish, and Lance Lynn have already been dealt this winter, and there are a few more starters on the trading block making up for an otherwise lackluster free agent class. The Yankees have already inquired on the Reds’ Luis Castillo, and he certainly makes a whole lot of sense given their competitive window and roster construction.

CBS Sports | R.J. Anderson: The Yankees had a busy weekend, inking DJ LeMahieu and Corey Kluber to shore up the 2021 roster. The question that remains is about how many other deals the team can make given their payroll commitments. Any further acquisition without shedding payroll would likely push the team past the first $210 million CBT line, but the roster still has spots that need filling. Brian Cashman’s work isn’t done just yet.

Yahoo! Sports | Andy Martino: Corey Kluber is a Yankee, which is a pretty crazy thing to think about. Martino goes into the mechanics of how such a signing came together, and what he could provide for a Yankee rotation desperate for arms. Like the above link, the final roster isn’t set, and still needs help, but Kluber could go a long way to helping out if he stays on the field.
