Pinstripe Alley open thread - 9/9/20

The Yankees are back to .500. Maybe now that they’re no better than 0-0, the team will see this as a fresh start, a chance to hit the reset button and leave the past few weeks behind them. Or maybe they’ll win four games the rest of the way and miss the playoffs.

In any event, on the site today, Cooper dives deep on Mike Tauchman’s mechanics to try to find out why the outfielder’s power has disappeared. Tom will look at Adam Ottavino’s struggles, which may tie into his use of the sinker, and Dan Kelly delivers the second part of his interview with outfield prospect Brandon Lockridge.
