Newsday | Erik Boland: There’s no doubt that Gary Sánchez has had an awful 2020 season thus far. However, the Yankees still stand by him. “I think it’s more about making that adjustment to where [he is] getting back to dominating the fastball,” Aaron Boone said. “As a hitter, I think that’s where it all begins, being able to handle the fastball.”

NJ.com | Randy Miller: The Yankees have obviously been bit by the injury bug again this year. With less than 20 games remaining, New York already has had 15 different players on the IL, which is a big reason for where they are in the standings. Here’s an update on some key players like Aaron Judge, James Paxton, Giancarlo Stanton, and Gio Urshela.

ESPN | Marly Rivera: Could the Yankees miss the postseason for the first time in four years? With the recent stretch they’ve been on, it’s certainly possible. The Bombers need get back on the right track before it’s too late.
