Baseball is back! We have kept you up to date with what the Yankees have been up to on social media ever since baseball shutdown back in March. Although the season is underway, we’ll still provide weekly updates on what your favorite Yankees do when they’re not on the diamond!

Deivi Garcia

The 21-year-old rookie made his major league debut against the crosstown rival Mets this past week. He went six innings, allowing no earned runs and struck out six over six innings. After his first start he posted on social media to reflect on his outing.

That wasn’t the only thing Garica posted this week. He also gave an appreciation post to the catcher who caught his first start, Erik Kratz, who has become a fan-favorite among Yankees fans.

Jasson Dominguez

Speaking of top prospects, let’s talk about Jasson Dominguez. He posted a video of himself taking some hacks, and he looks good. Yankees fans should be exited about the kid, even if he’s a few years away from the league.

Gerrit Cole

The Yankees ace recently had his first born baby with his wife Amy two months ago. She took to Instagram to share some pictures of her, the baby, and Gerrit.

Mariano Rivera

The best closer in the history of the game is now a grandfather. Mariano Rivera posted a picture of him and his newborn grandchild. Congratulations, Mo!

That’s all the updates we have for you this week. Check back next week to see more of what the Yankees are doing during their free time!
