Since he walked off the mound on Sunday, fans have been eager to see Dealin’ Deivi in action again. García dazzled in his debut, tossing six innings of one-run ball while striking out six against the Mets. The 21-year-old used his signature curveball to great effect, and he impressed everyone with his poise. Tonight the right-hander gets a chance for an encore.
As for the Orioles, Jorge López is scheduled to get the start. The 27-year-old appeared in five games this year between Kansas City and Baltimore, allowing a 7.53 ERA (3.97 FIP) in 14.1 innings of work.
