Heading into the final series of the regular season, fans in New York are starting to get excited again.

According to the most recent SB Nation Reacts survey, fan confidence in the Yankees rose to 57 percent after hitting rock bottom just a few weeks ago.

While the Yankees clinched a playoff bid, things will likely get a lot tougher next year assuming things get back to normal. This year, MLB expanded the playoffs to eight teams in each league. Fans, however, would like to see that go back to only five in 2021.
