Baseball is back! We have kept you up to date with what the Yankees have been up to on social media ever since baseball shutdown back in March. Although the season is underway, we’ll still provide weekly updates on what your favorite Yankees do when they’re not on the diamond!
Jordan Montgomery salutes fans
September 15 was “National Thank You Day” and Jordan Montgomery made sure to thank Yankee fans.
Big thanks to all our fans that continue to cheer us @Yankees on from home. We sure miss having y’all in the stands! #NationalThankYouDay

We all miss being in the Bronx just as much as the team does. Baseball surely isn’t the same without Yankees fans rocking the stadium. Hopefully roll calls and the bleacher creatures will return in time for the 2021 season.
Anthony Seigler
The 2018 first-round pick has been grinding this offseason, being that there was no minor league season. He’s been posting his workouts pretty consistently on his social media, which is a good sign since the catcher missed a large portion of the 2019 season due to injury. He will most likely begin the 2021 season with the Charleston Riverdogs.
Masahiro Tanaka
On Thursday, Tanaka faced off against the Blue Jays. He threw seven innings, allowing three runs on seven hits and struck out five. The Yankees went on to win the game 10-7. After his start, Tanaka offered his thoughts on his start. “I pitched against the Blue Jays. I was able to score my third win of the season with three runs in seven innings. Today is an offense after all. 19 home runs are too ugly in these 3 consecutive battles. After the match, I move to Boston. Good night.”
Clint Frazier
Clint Frazier and Brett Gardner not only take turns in left field, but also share a turtleneck now. According to Frazier, Gardner stole his turtleneck and wore it so Clint couldn’t. The veteran outfielder still plays jokes on his younger teammates.
can't wear my mock turtleneck tonight because gardy took it from my locker and now he's going to wear it. he just wanted to let me know who the man was around here ..... pic.twitter.com/ZV6azhl73G

That’s all the updates we have for you this week. Check back next week to see more of what the Yankees are doing during their free time!
