The Yankees pulled themselves out of a tailspin last week, salvaging the final game of their series against Toronto before sweeping a four-game series with the Orioles. They’re in control of their own destiny again, and they have a shot at climbing the ladder in the American League standings overall.
There’s plenty that has to go their way still, and some tough opponents slated for them no matter where they end up, but optimism is beginning to rise again. What’s your take on the Yankees recent performance? Where do you think they’ll end up, and can they get healthy enough to go far once the postseason rolls around? If any of these questions are on the forefront of your mind, or if you have one of your own to consider, send them in to us for the weekly mailbag.
Answers will run on Friday morning. All questions received by the night of September 17th will be considered. You can leave your submissions in the comment section below or by e-mail to pinstripealleyblog [at] gmail [dot] com.
