Baseball is back! We have kept you up to date with what the Yankees have been up to on social media ever since baseball shutdown back in March. Although the season is underway, we’ll still provide weekly updates on what your favorite Yankees do when they’re not on the diamond!
Gleyber Torres
Eusebio Torres, Gleyber’s father, posted a “throwback Thursday” picture of him, his wife, and nine-year-old Gleyber. Eusebio was rocking a Yankees shirt in the photo as well. Seems like it was just meant to be from the beginning.

Gio Urshela
The Yankees’ third baseman has been out with an elbow injury for some time now, and he was a key contributor before landing on the IL. However, even while he remained sidelined and the team went on an awful stretch of baseball, Gio has maintained a positive outlook.
Jasson Dominguez
Who doesn’t like to see videos of their team’s top prospect taking some live swings? “The Martian” got in the box and roped a ball into the right center field gap that got over the fence for a home run. At just 17-years-old, Dominguez has sky-high expectations and potential. He will be exciting to watch as he starts his career in the minors and works his way up.
Yanks pay tribute to 9/11
The Yankees remembered the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and paid tribute to the New York Police Department and New York Fire Department with these custom hats. In years past, the Yankees were not allowed to wear these caps on the field. MLB finally gave permission to the team to do so this year.
That’s all the updates we have for you this week. Check back next week to see more of what the Yankees are doing during their free time!
