Pinstripe Alley open thread - 9/11/2020

An open thread for your Friday morning.

New York Yankees v. Tampa Bay Rays

A somber good morning to everyone, as we’ve reached September 11th on the calendar. This day evokes a lot of emotion to so many people, but it’s particularly powerful to those of us in New York, and the Yankees — like all of MLB — will honor the victims of 9/11 with patches on their jerseys for today’s games.

Speaking of today’s games, the Yankees will play a doubleheader due to yesterday’s rainout. We’ll have coverage of both games in bullet-point recaps, on top of our normal coverage for the day. Dan Kelly breaks down how Michael King has fared and could best be used by the Yankees going forward, while Andrés looks into the state of the outfield. I’ll also be answering your questions in the weekly mailbag. Feel free to use this space as your open thread for the day, and stay safe out there.

Fun Questions

1. How many games would Aaron Judge have to be back for to be confident going into the postseason?

2. Did you watch the NFL season kickoff yesterday?
