Baseball is finally back! We have kept you up to date with what the Yankees have been up to on social media ever since baseball shutdown back in March. Although the season is underway, we’ll still provide weekly updates on what your favorite Yankees do in their free time!
Aaron Judge
Judge had a monster series finale against the Boston Red Sox last Sunday. He had two homers and five RBI as the Yanks beat the Sox, 9-7. After the game, he posted this awesome angle of his go-ahead eighth inning blast. In the caption, he notes how he misses the fans and the “Bronx Zoo” during moments like these. We miss you too, Aaron, and we hope to see you in-person soon!
The very next day, Brett Gardner hit an opposite field home run, which is something he rarely does. Former Yankees pitcher, Phil Hughes, tweeted (in good fun) that Gardner’s blast may have been because of a juiced baseball. Judge poked at the veteran outfielder some more on social media himself.
Giancarlo Stanton
Big G has been on fire thus far. He is hitting nearly .300, paired with a sky-high 1.028 OPS and three homers in the 2020 campaign. He posted a little throwback picture of himself during the opening series at Nationals Park. The BoomStick has certainly been summoned so far.

Anthony Seigler
The Yankees drafted Seigler in 2018 with the 23rd pick in the first round. He is a catcher and a switch hitter, and the 21-year-old has been grinding as he prepares for the 2021 season. Seigler missed nearly the last two months of the 2019 season due to injury.
That’s all the updates we have for you this week. Check back next week to see more of what the Yankees are doing during their free time!
