Well, the Yankees are in midseason form, having taken seven straight with their win over the Phillies last night. They’re off today as a bad storm hits the northeast, but will be back in action again tomorrow with a doubleheader in Philadelphia. J.A. Happ and Jordan Montgomery should be the starters then.

And on the site today, keep an eye out for an interesting an analysis from Josh on Gleyber Torres’ slump and his approach so far, as well as Dan Kelly’s look back at Don Mattingly’s eight-game home run streak, inspired of course by Aaron Judge’s incredible streak.

Fun Questions

  1. Were you more excited about Jordan Montgomery’s or Masahiro Tanaka’s velocity jump over the weekend?
  2. How long can the Orioles maintain their foothold as the surprise second-place AL East team?
