It’s been a wild week for the Yankees. After slogging through seven straight losses, the team pulled out three consecutive wins in the final inning of play. Sitting at 19-13, New York has regained their hold on a playoff spot heading into the second half of the season.
There’s still plenty of question marks surrounding this team, and it doesn’t look like the trade deadline is going to answer many of them. How will the team stay afloat while several of their key bats are still out? Who will step up to form the playoff rotation behind Gerrit Cole? If you’re curious about these topics, or anything else Yankees-related, send in a question for our weekly mailbag.
Answers will run on Friday morning. All questions received by the night of September 3rd will be considered. You can leave your submissions in the comment section below or by e-mail to pinstripealleyblog [at] gmail [dot] com.
