Start the week off with an open thread.

The weekend sure was fun, wasn’t it? Sign me up for the Yankees sweeping teams at every opportunity, especially when it’s the Red Sox. The Bombers will look to continue their momentum tonight with the long-awaited (and slightly delayed) matchup against the Phillies and former Yankees manager Joe Girardi. Should be a good one.

In the meantime, we’ve got some things to hold you over until gametime. This week’s FanPost prompt is centered on identifying the Yankees’ best trade chip, and the mailbag is open for business again. You guys were fantastic with supplying questions throughout the pause and it’s carried over now that we have baseball, please keep it up. We’ll also have an overall series preview for the Phillies matchup going up, and This Day will look back on the day the Yankees honored their fallen captain.

Fun Questions

1. If the season ended today, is Aaron Judge the AL MVP?

2. With Mother Nature complying, will we get a lengthy Cole start tonight?
