Tonight, the Yankees honor the life and legacy of one of the game’s great leaders, Jackie Robinson. Before the game, I implore you to read Dear Jackie, by Shakeia Taylor in today’s Baseball Prospectus. It’s unlocked for all. You should also check out the 4 Us 2 Remember video, narrated by Mookie Betts and directed by Randy Wilkins.

Jonathan Loaisiga leads the bullpen charge for the Yankees. The 25-year-old has appeared in six games, pitching to a 2.77 ERA (4.46 FIP). Expect Mike King or Luis Cessa to be in the mix. The late-inning options (Adam Ottavino, Aroldis Chapman) are also in play.

David Peterson, meanwhile, will start for the Mets. The rookie has pitched well through four games in 2020, sporting a 2.91 ERA (4.03 FIP). He’s a little wild, though, with a 9.1% walk rate. The left-hander’s a classic sinker-slider guy, sitting in the low 90s with his fastballs.

Here’s the Yankees’ lineup:

And the Mets’:

First pitch is scheduled for 8:40 PM. You can watch on YES, stream on MLB.tv, or listen on WFAN/WADO. Go Yankees, go baseball.
