Baseball is finally back! We have kept you up to date with what the Yankees have been up to on social media ever since baseball shutdown back in March. Although the season is underway, we’ll still provide weekly updates on what your favorite Yankees do in their free time!

David Hale & Addison Russ

On Friday the Yankees and Phillies agreed on a trade that sent reliever David Hale to Philadelphia in exchange for Addison Russ. Hale threw just six innings for the Bombers this year and 37.2 frames in 2019. Russ, 25, has never been higher than Double-A in his career. He can touch 96 mph and pairs it with a splitter. Had a 2.54 ERA in 55 games last year. Both players took to social media to thank their former team’s and welcome their new ones.

Miguel Yajure

The 22-year-old pitcher was called-up by the Yankees on Thursday and took a minute to snap a picture of Yankee Stadium. Yajure entered the history books with the New York Yankees even before he even made his official MLB debut as he is the first player in Major League history to wear number 89.

Jasson Dominguez

Another week, another Jasson Dominguez workout video. New York’s top prospect has been non-stop working on his game and his body, as he continues to show us through social media. There are lofty expectations for the 17-year-old, and rightfully so.
