Yankees Social Media Spotlight: Jasson Dominguez takes swings

Baseball is finally back! We have kept you up to date with what the Yankees have been up to on social media ever since baseball shutdown back in March. Although the season is underway, we’ll still provide weekly updates on what your favorite Yankees do in their free time!

Gerrit Cole & CC Sabathia

Gerrit Cole and CC Sabathia were compared to each other all offseason. They are both pitchers, both grew up in California, and both signed big contracts to join the Yankees. In fact, they’ve gotten a lot closer since the start of the Cole era in the Bronx. In a new episode of R2C2, the two talk about CC’s workout program and his first pitch. It well worth the watch.

Jasson Dominguez

New York’s 17-year-old prospect posted a few videos of him at the plate, which is something all Yankees fans can’t wait to see in the Bronx. Dominguez has yet to play a professional game in the minor leagues, but he’s definitely working on his game the best way he can.

Clint Frazier

After being told that he was going to be called-up to the major league team, Red Thunder posted a pretty funny gif as his reaction to the news. In the three games he’s played since, he’s slashing .636/.667/.1.455 with two homers, three doubles, and eight RBI.

Mariano Rivera

We’ve seen Peyton Manning and Tiger Woods take on Tom Brady and Phil Mickleson. If we were to see Tiger tee off against Mo, no one wouldn’t complain.
