Hello everyone, hope you’re doing well. I imagine most of you are after the Yankees thrashed the Red Sox, 10-3 last night. Personally, I dislike it when the Red Sox are this bad, because it means they’re likely to load up with a top draft pick and randomly peak like they have for most of the past decade. Sign me up for competitive Rivalry matches where the Bombers come on top anyway.
Regardless, Boston’s bad right now, and the Yankees are contenders, so they might as well capitalize on it. They’ll play again later tonight, and we’ll have all our usual coverage for you. We’ll also have a couple articles to tide you over, with Andrés looking into Luke Voit’s aggression at the plate and Dan Kelly providing a cautionary tale about relying on pitching prospects, courtesy of one of our new NL East foes.
Fun Questions
1. What’s your favorite recent Yankees-Red Sox memory?
2. Will we see Clarke Schmidt pitch this month?
