Yankees Highlights: Clint Frazier returns with a vengeance

Frazier led the Yankees to a sweep of his hometown Braves

MLB: Atlanta Braves at New York Yankees Andy Marlin-USA TODAY Sports

Great series? Great series. The Yankees swept the Braves by a score of 6-3, and they did it with all sorts of offense. We’ll have a full recap up in a little while, maybe in the morning depending on how late it gets, so in the meantime, let these highlights tide you over.

Winner of the Game

Welcome back, Clint Frazier! The outfielder had a phenomenal night at the plate, going 3-for-4 with a double and a home run. He had a chance to go for the cycle in the seventh inning, but struck out checking his swing. Frazier represents one of the most exciting players in the organization, so seeing him come up big on his first night back was incredible. Wear a mask. Hit dingers.

Honorable Mention: DJ LeMahieu, who went 4-for-4 with a triple. Is it possible for him to award that to Clint for the cycle?

Loser of the Game

The Yankees played a fun game. Let’s not dwell on the negatives. I hereby proclaim tonight a loser-free game. Huzzah!

Honorable Mention: The Yankees’ pitching staff, while only allowing two runs, sure didn’t make it easy. Zack Britton had to come in to the game with one out in the ninth, for crying out loud.
