New York Post | George A. King III: He did not appear in his first game after being recalled, but Aaron Boone said he expects that Clint Frazier will play an “important role” with the Yankees. Boone said he’ll likely see time at both DH and the outfield. While it’s nothing something Boone is going to say, it may also be a chance for the Yankees to showcase him for a trade, even if we’ve been hearing that for years with nothing ever coming to pass.

New York Post | George A. King III: Speaking of trades, the deadline this year will be unlike others. With the playoffs expanded to 16 teams, you’re likely to see fewer teams willing to get rid of good players. That means there’s less of a chance that the Yankees would be able to add a big impact player this year. | Jon Schwartz: Jasson Dominguez is just 17-years old and still has braces, yet he is probably the most exciting prospect in the Yankees’ organization. While he’s still a long way off from him playing in the majors, there’s a lot to be intrigued about with “The Martian.”

ESPN | Jeff Passan: In the aftermath of the COVID-19 spread that has caused mass cancellation of games related to the Marlins and Cardinals, preliminary discussions have been held about the postseason being held in a NBA-like bubble. One of the potential destinations for the bubble could be New York with both Yankee Stadium and Citi Field holding the games.
