Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged in Yankees fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.

In last week’s SB Nation Reacts survey fans were asked to take a deeper look at the team. They voted separately on the pitching staff, lineup and coaching staff/front office.

Pitching Staff

How can fans not love a pitching staff anchored by Gerrit Cole? One of the best pitchers on the planet, he leads a rotation that also features James Paxton and Masahiro Tanaka. That’s not to mention the Bullpen of Doom, one set to regain Aroldis Chapman from the injured list. They might not have the best top-to-bottom pitching staff in baseball, but whatever they lack on the mound, they make up in the box.

Lineup

One of the few bright spots in this dumpster fire of a year is that the Yankees finally have a fully-healthy lineup. Both Giancarlo Stanton and Aaron Judge have hit the cover off the ball, while DJ LeMahieu hasn’t missed a beat atop the batting order. The Death Star, Murderers’ Row 2.0, whatever you want to call it, the lineup is monumental and commands the attention of the entire league.

Coaching Staff & General Manager

Nationally, fans were asked how they felt about the 2020 season as a whole, with 69 percent of fans saying this season is still meaningful. Fans were also asked if they thought players would hit home runs at a similar pace as previous years, but only seven percent thought a single player would hit at least 40 home runs.
