Pinstripe Alley open thread - 7/7/2020

Hello everyone, welcome to another day of intrasquad Yankees action. Gerrit Cole takes the mound today, something I’m sure a lot of us are excited to see even in an unofficial game.

We’ll have another game thread for that later tonight, but the lineup of articles is as follows: John responds to a topic Josh brought up about the importance of depth, and Dan Kelly has a pair of articles looking at the varying results of the first-round picks present in the Yankees camp as well as two pitchers in particular who could contribute in 2020.
