NY Post | Dan Martin: In what felt like an inevitability, some Yankees have tested positive for coronavirus. DJ LeMahieu and Luis Cessa both tested positive, with LeMahieu reportedly asymptomatic and Cessa experiencing mild symptoms. They’re both self-isolating outside New York.

ESPN | Marly Rivera: In a scary scene at Yankee workouts today, Masahiro Tanaka was struck on the head by a line drive off the bat of Giancarlo Stanton, and after a scary few minutes where he was motionless in the ground, he walked off the mound and was taken to the hospital, where his CT scan was negative and was released. Prayers for Masa for sure.

New York Post | George A. King III: If the 2020 season opens as planned later this month, games will be played in empty ballparks, which will be a challenge for Zack Britton. The lefty believes the lack of support from fans will require an adjustment. Britton referenced the 2015 game between Baltimore and the White Sox that was staged in an empty Camden Yards, saying that he had hoped at the time he’d never have to participate in such a game again.
