Hello folks, it’s almost time. 24 hours from now, we’ll be prepping for Opening Day. I can honestly say I didn’t think we would get here at one point, so when game time rolls around I’ll put aside my worries for a couple hours and enjoy the fact that we’re getting MLB action at last.
We’re got a big lineup to get through before then though, so without further ado let’s get into it. Starting off today Andres will dive into Jordan Montgomery’s polished breaking pitches and how that’ll set him up once he’s back in the rotation (and he should be soon enough). Tom runs us through a preview of the opening series with the Nationals, and Jake gives us the final NL East opponent preview — this time featuring the Marlins. Tyler will close it out with our staff’s season predictions, where hopefully someone will dethrone Jake before he completes the five-peat.
As always, use this space as your open thread for the day. Stay safe, and enjoy.
Fun Questions
1. Over/Under 2.5 home runs (combined) in tomorrow’s game?
2. What article/series that we wrote during this lengthy pause was your favorite?
