We’re still keeping tabs on the Yankees on social media as we inch closer to Opening Day! Gerrit Cole welcomes a baby boy and Judge and Torres have fun making skits with their teammates.

It’s been 122 days since Major League Baseball announced the suspension of spring training and the delay of Opening Day. While baseball activities have officially begun, players throughout the league have continued to post often on social media. Let’s check back in and see what some Yankees have been up to this week.

Gerrit Cole

The Yankees’ ace and his wife had their first child, Caden Gerrit Cole, on June 30. “He’s strong. He’s a good mix of his dad and his mom,” Cole said of his baby boy on Friday. “He’s a little towhead. He’s absolutely adorable. He’s got big blue eyes and gosh I just can’t stop staring at him.”

It might be a little early, but maybe the Yankees should think about scouting Caden now.

Aaron Judge

Number 99 posted a Jersey Mike’s commercial in which he starred. In the video, Judge attempts to talk like a “New Yarka.” It’s pretty funny, give it a watch!

He wasn’t done featuring in videos though. This next skit is funny as well and even consists of plenty of his teammates. Give the man an Oscar already.

Gleyber Torres

Judge wasn’t the only one creating funny content. Gleyber Torres joined the fun by passing out his “2020 Gleyber of the Month” calendars. It features Luke Voit, Zack Britton, Gio Urshela, and a surprise appearance by Hal Steinbrenner.

Deivi Garcia

The Yankees’ young pitching prospect made his first appearance on the hill in the Bronx during one of the team’s intersquad games. He only pitched one inning (12 pitches) but got the job done. He got Mike Tauchman to fly out, Miguel Andujar to groundout, and struck out Gary Sanchez. He took to social media following his outing to thank God for his opportunity.
