Welcome in the weekend with an open thread.

Hello everybody, we’ve made it to the end of another week. Intrasquad games have given us some live baseball finally, with several completed and some more on the horizon before exhibition games get underway. Here’s hoping that things continue to go smoothly.

Today we’ll begin with the answers to your questions in our mailbag. Andres will follow with an article on Aroldis Chapman pushing to improve in pursuit of another ring, John brings us back to the fantastic performance Aaron Judge put on at the 2017 Home Run Derby, and Ryan Chichester hits cleans up with a highlight on the importance of Aaron Hicks coming back. As always, consider this your open thread for the day.

Fun Questions

1. Which Home Run Derby was more fun to watch — 2011 (Robinson Cano) or 2017 (Aaron Judge)?

2. With so few off days in the schedule, should teams try six-man rotations or openers more?
