You know what’s cool? This is the first open thread I sat down to write with baseball on the horizon since March. I know people aren’t happy about a 60-game season, but if you ask me, any baseball is better than no baseball. Heck, you could give me six innings right about now and I’d be happy.
While we wait for spring training 2.0, let’s preview some of the stories going live today:
- Dan Carty offers his suggestions for how expanded playoffs could actually be fun, as modeled on the KBO
- Dan Kelly examines the best 12-start stretches from Yankees pitchers, to get an idea of how they’d fare in a 60-game season
- Jake presents a critique of MLB ownership for missing a window of opportunity to pull in big ratings
- Peter wonders if the extra time off helps Miguel Andujar, or would he have benefited more from regular at-bats
In the meantime, feel free to use this as your open thread. Enjoy!
Fun Questions
