Hello everyone, welcome to another week. The player’s union threw their first counter-offer to the owners in the negotiations to start the season, and it looks like there’s still going to be plenty of back-and-forth on the issue. Time is becoming a factor in these talks, so we may see a flurry of suggestions again soon.

On the PSA front, we’ve got a couple of prompts for you today. Tyler opens with our latest FanPost prompt asking how you would get the season going, and Jake has our weekly mailbag request. Dan goes in-depth on a couple of pitching prospects being connected to the Yankees in some recent mocks, and This Day highlights the selection of Derek Jeter with the sixth pick back in 1992.

As always, feel free to use this space as your open thread for the day. Stay safe, folks.

Fun Questions

1. Are you for or against seeing the Yankees playing games in November?

2. Over or under July 1st as an eventual starting date?
