Is this the make-or-break week for baseball in 2020? It just might be! According to Evan Drellich, owners are expected to submit their latest economic plan to the MLBPA tomorrow. If they deliver a satisfactory proposal, the gears for baseball’s reopening can fully engage. If it falls short, however, then a protracted labor battle expects to follow.
While we wait for news to drop, let’s take some questions and answers. You may want to talk about the state of baseball reopening, or perhaps you’re wondering how the Yankees will fare in a short season. Will a long layoff affect the usage of top arms like Gerrit Cole? How about impending free agents such as DJ LeMahieu, Masahiro Tanaka, and James Paxton? Maybe you want to know about the taxi squads and prospects who might make their debuts. Any and all baseball questions are welcome, from the broad and general to granular and specific.
Answers will run on Friday morning. All questions received by the night of May 28th will be considered. You can leave your submissions in the comment section below or by e-mail to pinstripealleyblog [at] gmail [dot] com. Thanks everyone!
