NY Daily News | Kristie Ackert: Aaron Judge is still rehabbing his injured rib and all this added rest has helped him recover. While he did provide an update, Aaron Boone is still uncertain as to what stage Judge is at this point. “It’s been very productive to have this time to allow that rib to heal, and that is happening,’’ Boone said. “As to where he’s at exactly, we don’t have anything for you on that yet.’’

NY Post | Dan Martin: One big question that surrounded the Yankees heading into the 2020 season was the lack of lefty bats in the lineup. In step Mike Ford. “He’s shown patience at the plate at every level and with his swing in that stadium, what he did last season when he got the chance should be sustainable if they can find a spot for him,’’ one AL scout said.

Greenwich Time: When Brian Cashman isn’t doing his normal work as the Yankees’ GM, he’s doing something for a good cause. We’ve seen him in the past do things like sleep outside to raise awareness for homeless youth and even rappel down a building dressed as an elf. Well, he’s at it again.

He will visit Family Centers on May 14th for a virtual conversation to support local families most affected by the coronavirus. All proceeds from the virtual conversation will benefit Family Centers’ Emergency Family Assistance Fund. Participants can gain access to this exclusive virtual experience by making a minimum donation of $25. Donations can be made by texting CASHMAN to 41444.
