It’s been 66 days since Major League Baseball announced the suspension of spring training and the delaying of Opening Day. Although no official activities have occurred in quite some time, players throughout the league have continued to keep loose. Let’s check back in and see what some Yankees have been up to.
CC Sabathia
Who are you and what have you done with CC Sabathia?
Retirement? CC Sabathia looks like he's ready to play

All jokes aside, Sabathia is looking as lean as ever and has even grown out his beard. The southpaw retired after the 2019 season, but if the Yankees need an extra starter when baseball starts, they might need to give CC a call.
Giancarlo Stanton
Sabathia wasn’t the only one working out this past week. Giancarlo Stanton also hit the weight room. Here, he teaches you how to lift while at home, but in a much different way.

Yes, he’s working out with a lamp. I’m not sure if parents will love that idea, but hey, whatever works, right?
Jasson Dominguez
New York’s top prospect went fishing this week. Check out the second slide on his Instagram post to see him in action! The third slide features his big catch.
He can hit from both sides of the plate, play the outfield, steal bases and now you can add fishing to his impressive resume.
Gio Urshela
Urshela posted a throwback picture of him as a young kid with a bat on his shoulder and what seems to be a Detroit Tigers cap on his head. A pure, natural ballplayer from the start. I mean, just look at that stance!
That’s all the updates we have for you today. Check back next week to see more of what the Yankees are doing during their free time!
