Pinstripe Alley open thread - 4/8/2020

Start your Wednesday morning off with an open thread.

Hello everyone, welcome to hump day. We’ve got a full slate of content today, featuring equal parts historical and comical. Joe has an excellent flashback in This Day in Yankees History to the first of many Godzilla home runs, and Daniel Carty takes us through the pitching half of his “all-time good” roster. Josh takes us on memory road to a collection of Yankees that we loved to rag on, and Matt delivers his third installment of my personal favorite series we have running: What if Eduardo Nunez was the greatest player alive? Peter bridges our topics with an analysis of the Yankees’ center field prospects.

As usual, feel free to use this space as your open thread for the day. Take care, y’all.

Fun Questions

1. Which moment stands out to you more: Jeter’s 3,000th hit game or his final game in Yankee Stadium?

2. Same question: The 2017 Wild Card Game or Game Five of the 2017 ALDS?
