This time last week we were counting down to Opening Day. Now, we find ourselves, as one historian puts it, in the throes of the Great Disruption. You’ve heard it from many other outlets, but if one person heeds the advice by reading this, then I don’t feel bad about repeating the point: flatten the curve. Practice social distancing, wash your hands frequently, and avoid touching your face. These little steps will go a long way to controlling the spread of the coronavirus.
If you’re looking for a place to interact with a community while staying inside, feel free to use this as your open thread for the day. Here are a few questions to get the conversation rolling:
- What kind of Yankees stories do you want to see from us while we wait out the start of the season?
- It’s Final Jeopardy, and you’re just slightly off the lead. What category makes you confident enough to go for broke and risk it all?
