NY Daily News | Kristie Ackert: Spring training and the start to the MLB season has been delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Some Yankees, such as Giancarlo Stanton, Aaron Judge and Gerrit Cole, have offered their thoughts on the situation. With Opening Day supposed to be two weeks away, there’s a whole lot of uncertainty around the league. | Brendan Kuty: Looking for something not related to COVID-19? Well, here you go. This is the inside story of how the Yankees landed top prospect Deivi Garcia, after first meeting him in 2015. “Get him off the mound,” Donny Rowland, a Yankees scout said to his staff. “We’re going to sign this guy.”

NYPost | Ken Davidoff: Caught up in the much bigger news around baseball, James Paxton threw for the first time since his back surgery in early February. “It was all great. My back didn’t hurt at all,” said Paxton. The lefty hopes to be back on the mound for the Yankees in mid-May.

990WBOB | Tyler Salk: Pinstripe Alley’s own Joshua Diemert joined The Tyler Salk Show to talk some Yanks. He discussed the Yankees’ injury issues, Miguel Andujar, Clint Frazier, and even chose his winner for the AL East! You can hear Josh speak starting at the 31-minute mark on the show.
