It’s day two of this strange edition of the winter meetings. We’ll see if there’s any action today, and if there is, we’ll be sure to have all the coverage for you. Otherwise, we’ll have profiles of a plethora of players: Michael Brantley, Jon Lester, and former Yankees reliever Kirby Yates. We’ll also look back at the 2020 campaigns of the anonymous reliever brigade, namely, Tyler Lyons, David Hale, and Ben Heller.

  1. Who earns more on the free agent market: DJ LeMahieu, or the Yankees’ combined free agent starting pitchers (Masahiro Tanaka, James Paxton, and J.A. Happ)?
  2. Who wins more games in 2021, Gerrit Cole and Clarke Schmidt combined, or the New York Knicks (the Knicks’ Vegas over/under is set at about 22 wins)?
