Per prospect expert Jim Callis, it’s 24-year-old righty Garrett Whitlock, who had a 3.07 ERA in 2019 and is currently in Double-A. Find out more about him here! | Mike Rosenstein: Gleyber Torres didn’t have a spectacular defensive year at shortstop, registering -9 DRS in just 320 23 innings. However, Aaron Boone has not given up on the youngster. “It’s a demanding and difficult position,” Boone said. “And I think sometimes we lose sight of just how young Gleyber is and how much success he’s had at such a young age at the big-league level.’’
