NJ.com | Mike Rosenstein: Gleyber Torres didn’t have a spectacular defensive year at shortstop, registering -9 DRS in just 320 23 innings. However, Aaron Boone has not given up on the youngster. “It’s a demanding and difficult position,” Boone said. “And I think sometimes we lose sight of just how young Gleyber is and how much success he’s had at such a young age at the big-league level.’’
