Pinstripe Alley open thread - 10/9/20

An open thread on what’s hopefully not the last day of the season.

There could be one day remaining in the Yankees season, or there could be many more. We’ll find out which tonight, when Gerrit Cole toes the rubber three days after he won Game One of the ALDS. It’s a precarious position for the Yankees, but they have to enter Game Five clear-eyed and confident with their super ace on the mound.

We’ll of course have all the coverage you need of that game in the hours ahead. Let’s hope this season lasts just a little bit longer.
